Just Bim

Just BIM
BIM is one of many nicknames used by locals for Barbados. Just BIM is a Barbados excursion like no other. Your Barbados tour begins at Harrisons Cave where you will board electric trams and travel through the winding tunnels viewing majestic caverns and the stalactites and stalagmites which have been growing in them for many centuries. Another special feature of the caves is its streams, waterfalls and pools. Harrison's cave is guaranteed to be an experience of a lifetime.
You will then drive towards the center of the island for your next stop, which is your choice of either Hunte's Gardens or the Flower Forest. Located in a gully, Hunte's Gardens is a lush rainforest garden full of tropical plants, birds, and other wildlife. The many-tiered garden features a great variety of ambiances, from bright and open to deep, dark, and magical. The Flower Forest, a fifty acre botanical garden with an amazing array of plants and species in infinite shades of green interspersed by colors that only nature can produce. Exotic birds and local monkeys can often be spotted as well.
After the garden, continue on to the town of Bathsheba and the scenic East Coast well known for its rugged beauty. Atlantic rollers break on large rocks at sea to form beautiful mist and foam. After driving along a part of the East Coast, you will stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Following lunch, you will make your way to your last stop, up Cherry Tree Hill, and on to St. Nicholas Abbey. It is likely the last remaining authentic house of the 17th Century that exists anywhere in the "New World". When this residence was built around 1658 of brick and limestone, many of the structures in North America were made of timber, and have long since perished. The residence was built only 30 years after Barbados' settlement by the British in 1627, so it is of significant historical value to the island. The Plantation also has a small but very beautiful garden with large colorful hibiscus and a small rum distillery that produces award-winning rum.
Please note: This tour does not visit St. Nicholas Abbey on Saturdays.
