The Makena area has one of the most beautiful shorelines in South Maui, it is also home to a world class golf course and some of the major resorts on Maui. Makena is also adjacent to one of the more remote areas of Maui, the La Perouse Bay are, the end of the road for the South side.

Mount Nebo rises in western Jordan, overlooking the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, and, on clear days, Jerusalem and Jericho.

Incorporated in 1867, it is the capital of the state of Wyoming. Gold mining has been a major industry here.

Nelson is a small city in southeastern British Columbia, set along the West Arm of Kootenay Lake and surrounded by the Selkirk Mountains. Steep hills rise around the city, giving many streets views toward the lake and forested slopes. Nelson is known for its well-preserved historic downtown, heritage buildings, independent shops, galleries, and access to outdoor recreation.

Ilhabela is an archipelago municipality on the northern coast of São Paulo, separated from the mainland by the São Sebastião Channel. Its main island combines a developed coastal area with extensive Atlantic Forest, while smaller islands and islets form part of the same municipality. The town is known for sailing, beaches, waterfalls, and maritime activities, and it holds the official title of National Capital of Sailing.
