Portland, Oregon, is a city where natural beauty and urban innovation coexist harmoniously. Nestled between the Columbia and Willamette Rivers and framed by volcanic mountains, Portland offers an array of outdoor adventures alongside its renowned cultural scene. Connemara, on Ireland’s rugged west coast in County Galway, is a region defined by its untamed landscapes, Gaelic traditions, and tranquil pace of life. Known for its windswept boglands, heather-covered hills, and granite mountains, Connemara feels both remote and deeply authentic, a place where Irish language and culture remain vibrant. The area has long inspired artists and writers drawn to its wild beauty and poetic solitude.
Just outside of Tucson lies Saguaro National Park, which is home to hundreds of saguaro cacti, the iconic symbol of the old West. There are endless scenic hikes and wildlife habitats, and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum isn't to be missed. The star of the park, of course, are the cacti themselves, and there are few more beautiful sights than seeing them silhouetted against the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset.
Corinna is a small, remote settlement on Tasmania’s west coast, set beside the dark waters of the Pieman River at the southern edge of takayna / Tarkine. Once a gold-mining settlement, it is now centred on a wilderness village surrounded by cool-temperate rainforest, rivers, and rugged country. Corinna has no mobile phone coverage and very limited supplies, giving it a distinctly secluded character.
